School groups

We offer an exciting range of schools’ workshops and resources based around our collections and linked to the National Curriculum. Our free education service caters for students from Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. Join in the celebrations at a Roman wedding, create a ‘living map’ of Retford and tour the town to discover how Retford has changed and grown, experience life in the Stone Age and Victorian Britain.

For information on our workshops download our flyers below:

  • Romans!

Bring the museum into your classroom with our handling boxes and resources including Roman Food and Cooking, Roman Masters and Slaves, Victorian household, Old Toys, World War II and Mystery Objects.
