Rural Heritage Centre

The Rural Heritage Centre was built in 2008 and houses our extensive collection of items relating to farming and rural life. Agriculture and rural crafts have been crucial to Bassetlaw since prehistoric times. Agricultural tool and chair making, basketry and blacksmithing, milling and malting have all taken their place alongside farming.
